As the Department of Architecture at Balıkesir University's Faculty of Architecture, we participated with our students in the 5th Architecture and Energy Workshop organized by Kocaeli University's Faculty of Architecture and Design.

The workshop, held around the theme of "Resource-Efficient Buildings and Settlements," provided a valuable learning environment for our students through academic and industry-specific discussions on sustainable architecture, energy-efficient design, environmental awareness, and innovative building approaches.
We hope that the subsequent stages of the workshop, enriched by workshops and jury evaluations, will also be fruitful; and we thank all the professors, stakeholder institutions, and the organizing team who contributed to the organization of this event.
We also extend our gratitude to our students for their interest and contributions to this valuable event.
